We want you to be happy with your CasaVoz Thermostat. This page explains how we ship, how returns work, and what our warranty covers.
Shipping Policy
Where We Ship
We currently ship to all 50 U.S. states, including Alaska and Hawaii. We do not ship to U.S. territories, APO/FPO addresses, or internationally at this time.
Processing Time
Orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days (Monday through Friday, excluding U.S. holidays). Orders placed on weekends or holidays are processed the following business day. High order volume during promotions or the holiday season may extend processing time.
Shipping Cost and Methods
We offer free standard shipping on all U.S. orders. Standard shipping is typically delivered within 3–7 business days after processing, depending on your location. Delivery estimates are provided by our carriers and are not guaranteed.
Order Tracking
Once your order ships, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number. Please allow up to 24 hours after receiving the email for tracking information to appear in the carrier’s system.
Shipping Address
You are responsible for providing an accurate and complete shipping address at checkout. We cannot reroute or redirect packages once they have shipped. If a package is returned to us because of an incorrect address or failed delivery, you are responsible for the cost of reshipment.
Lost, Stolen, or Damaged Packages
Once we hand off a package to the carrier, risk of loss passes to you. If your tracking information shows the package was delivered but you did not receive it, please:
- Check with neighbors, household members, and building managers
- Contact the carrier to file a claim
- Contact us so we can help where we’re able
We are not obligated to replace or refund packages marked as delivered by the carrier, but we will review each situation individually and may offer a goodwill replacement at our discretion. If a package arrives damaged, please take photos of the packaging and product and contact us within 7 days of delivery.
Return Policy
30-Day Returns
You may return your CasaVoz Thermostat within 30 days of delivery for a refund, subject to the conditions below.
Return Conditions
To be eligible for a return, the item must be:
- In its original condition and packaging
- Complete with all accessories, the C-Wire Adapter, wall plate, and documentation included at shipment
- Free of signs of misuse, abuse, or damage caused by the customer
Items returned in a condition that does not meet these requirements may be refused or subject to a restocking fee of up to 15%.
How to Start a Return
Contact us through our contact page with your order number and reason for return. We will provide return instructions and a return address.
Return Shipping
You are responsible for the cost of return shipping unless the product was defective, damaged in transit, or sent in error. We recommend using a trackable shipping method. We are not responsible for returns lost in transit.
Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you of the status within 5 business days. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days after approval. Depending on your bank or card issuer, it may take additional time for the refund to appear on your statement. Original shipping charges, if any, are non-refundable.
Non-Returnable Items
The following are not eligible for return:
- Items marked as final sale or clearance
- Gift cards
- Items returned after the 30-day window
- Items damaged due to misuse, accidents, improper installation, or unauthorized modifications
Warranty
1-Year Limited Warranty
Your CasaVoz Thermostat is covered by a 1-year limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship, starting from the original date of purchase. This warranty is available only to the original purchaser and is not transferable.
What the Warranty Covers
This warranty covers manufacturing defects, including:
- Failure to power on under normal use with correct 24VAC wiring
- Premature Wi-Fi, display, or sensor failure under normal use
- Defects in materials or assembly
What the Warranty Does Not Cover
This warranty does not cover:
- Damage caused by drops, impacts, or accidents
- Damage caused by misuse, neglect, or improper installation
- Damage caused by power surges, incorrect voltage, or faulty HVAC wiring
- Cosmetic damage, scratches, or normal wear and tear
- Products used in commercial, industrial, or outdoor settings
- Products that have been modified, repaired, or tampered with by anyone other than CasaVoz
- Products purchased from unauthorized resellers
How to File a Warranty Claim
Contact us via our contact page with:
- Your order number or proof of purchase
- A description of the issue
- Photos or video showing the defect
We will review your claim and, at our sole discretion, repair, replace, or refund the defective product. This is your sole and exclusive remedy under this warranty.
Warranty Limitations
THIS WARRANTY IS THE SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE WARRANTY PROVIDED BY CASAVOZ. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE DISCLAIMED. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON IMPLIED WARRANTIES, SO THIS LIMITATION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
